Privacy Choices (US residents)

Last updated · May 18, 2026

1. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

If you're a resident of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, or another US state with a comprehensive consumer-privacy law, you have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

MADCAP does not sell personal information in the traditional sense. However, using marketing cookies for cross-context advertising may qualify as "sharing" under CCPA/CPRA and as "targeted advertising" under VCDPA / CPA / CTDPA / UCPA. The button below opts you out of those activities.

Current setting: You are opted out of marketing and cross-context sharing.

We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal automatically. If your browser sends GPC, we treat it as an opt-out and you don't need to click anything here.

If you have an account, this opt-out applies to data tied to your account. If you don't have an account, the opt-out is stored in your browser's localStorage and applies to this browser on this device. To extend it across devices, please create an account or contact us.

2. Your other US state rights

You also have the right to:

  • Knowwhat personal information we collect, use, disclose, and share about you (CCPA/CPRA "right to know").
  • Access a copy of your personal information (most state laws).
  • Correct inaccurate personal information (CPRA + VCDPA + CPA + CTDPA + UCPA).
  • Delete your personal information, subject to our legal retention requirements (most state laws).
  • Limit use of sensitive personal information (CPRA, where applicable; MADCAP does not currently process sensitive information beyond what's required for shipping and payment).
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email eytan@redbeard.co.il with the subject line "US Privacy Request" and tell us which right you'd like to exercise and which US state you reside in. We verify identity before fulfilling deletion or access requests and respond within the timeframe required by your state's law (typically 45 days, sometimes with a permitted extension).

You may also authorize an agent to submit a request on your behalf. We'll require proof of authorization.

3. Appeals

If you're a resident of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, or another state that grants an appeal right, you can appeal any decision we make on your privacy request. To appeal, reply to our decision email within 60 days. We'll respond to appeals within 60 days. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general.
